The practice of medicine has seen a sea change and the challenges associated are complex. Hence, the medical fraternity should come together & unite to overcome the challenges posed by various quarters to the profession called on Dr. M Venkatachalapathy, IMA President of Karnataka state. He was speaking to IMA members at Adarsh Palace Hotel in Belagavi.
He lauded the efforts of Dr. Devagouda, Dr. Anil Patil and all IMA members for extending exemplary medical service to the ailing community during pandemic.
Felicitation of Doctors
Dr Dileep Pathade, Dr Suhas Manjarekar, Dr Prakash Malur, Dr P V Havaldar and Dr Meena Dinanath Patil were felicitated for their lifetime services & enriching the profession. Dr R G Viveki Director of BIMS was also felicitated.
In his talk Dr. Venkatachalapathy shared schemes for doctors and their families, he said about Rs 12 crore were disbursed by IMA to the doctors and families who either lost their lives or went through severe suffering.
Essay Competition
The premier health portal myarogya.in & IMA Belagavi branch conducted state level essay competition in an online mode. The prize money and certificate were distributed to winners by Dr. Devagouda & Dr Anil Patil

3rd Prize Reema Patil, Angadi Institute of Technology & Management.
Cultural events, skit in Marathi and other entertainment program were part of the function. Dr. Basavraj Bijjargi moderated the program.
