Chief guest Dr.N.S. MAHANTASHETTI, Principal, JNMC Belagavi, Inaugurated the SEMINAR & addressed the gathering.
Dr.V.D PATIL, director hospital development & newprojects, KAHERBELAGAVI, Dr. ANAND PANDURANGI, Consulting Psychiatrist, Dharwad ,were the guest of honour and addressed regarding rise in Mental health issues especially among the youth population and the importance of timely intervention.
Dr Vishwanath M Patanshetti, Vice principal, & Dr.Arif Maldar, Medical superintendent, graced the occasion.
Eminent speakers, from NIMHANS, SDM & JNMC, delivered lectures on various aspects of mental illness of paediatric & adolescent age group. Dr.U.S.Vishal Rao Dean | Professor | Director Head Neck Oncology, HCG Cancer Centre ,TEDx gave a vast talk on cancer, its terminal stage and mental state and illustrated many situations how people have overcome.
Vote of thanks was proposed Dr. SHANTALA S HERLEKAR, Organizing Secretary. The event was concluded with valedictory session by Dr. Ramesh Arganji, Joint Secretary & Dr. Arkanshu. It was highly appreciated by all delegates.
