Women’s Health; Newer Perspectives(41st JNMC Scientific Society CME)

The Scientific Society of prestigious J N Medical College has organized 41st Continuing Medical Education (CME) which is scheduled in KLE Convention Centre, Belagavi on 8th & 9th April, 2023. The theme of scientific session is “Women’s Health; Newer Perspective”.

Female folk right from their childhood face multiple health issues which are neglected or not timely attended due to gender disparities. Half of our population is of female gender they encounter various health issues which will all be deliberated in two days CME.

The subjects of varied interest include adolescents, sexual issues, infertility, prolonged/irregular menstrual cycles, excessive bleeding, Polycystic Ovarian Cyst Syndrome (PCOS), Infertility, Skin disorders, Antenatal check-up, nutrition, increase in incidents of heart disease among women, Medical termination of pregnancy a legal perspective, Menopause, mood variations/psychiatric issues, and anemia in women are few prominent among many subjects to be deliberated in the CME.

Topics from ‘Womb to Tomb’ will be deliberated in two days CME. The most glaring part of the program is Dr. B S Jirge Oration by Dr. Alpesh Gandhi, Ahmadabad who will deal on the topic “Maternal Mortality reduction; newer challenges”

Lectures, group discussions, Question-Answers, Quiz & poster presentation are part of two days CME. Karnataka Medical Council has granted four credit hours for CME.
