He was speaking, presiding over Republic Day function at KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital, Belagavi. In the initial days of Covid-19, Hospital immediately procured RT-PCT equipment and record number of over 35,000 RT-PCR (Covid-19) tests were conducted and over 2000 Covid cases were admitted and treated with less than 2% fatality rate speaks of volume and quality of work done by our Corona warriors opined Dr. Kore. It is hard & extremely difficult to treat Corona patients with PPE kits fully covered. But, you all have done exemplary work in trying circumstances said Dr. Kore. He also inaugurated patiently friendly initiative of calling 24X7 emergency services 1099. Citizens in emergency medical conditions can call 1099 for medical attention and medical advice.
Unfurling the national flag Chief Guest of the function, Col. Swapnil Tribhuvan, Deputy Commandant, Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre (MLIRC) congratulated the staff of the hospital for their contribution in the fight against Corona virus. Col Swapnil said, we as military personnel fight the known enemy but you as a medical warriors has successfully foght against the invisible enemy Corona.
