Rastriya Janata Dal Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav got a new lease of life after successful Kidney Transplantation at Singapore on 5th Dec (Monday). Lalu’s elder daughter Rohini Acharya who resides in Singapore took a bold decision of donating one of her kidney to her ailing father. Rohini’s decision to donate a kidney to her father was applauded by family & RJD party leaders.
Seventy-four years, Lalu had been diagnosed as renal failure case and was facing health issues for last couple of months and was advised Kidney Transplant as the only & last option. Rohini willingly came forward to donate Kidney and the family took the decision to perform surgery at Singapore which is convenient for donor & has best of facilites. Rohini married to Rao Samresh Singh, who is an engineer by profession at Singapore. The couple has two sons and a daughter.
The former Bihar chief minister’s family, including his son and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, Lalu’s wife Rabri, and daughter Misa are present besides Lalu at Singapore.
