The Association of Physician’s of India, Karnataka Chapter, Belagavi branch in association with KAHER’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Department of Medicine is hosting the KAPICON which is the 37th Annual Conference of the Karnataka API.
The conference will take place on the 31st of May, 1st and 2nd June at the KLE Centenary Convention center at the JNMC campus.
The conference carries the theme “‘Empowering Physicians to Conquer Infections ” and has a scientific program designed to appraise all physicians with the latest in diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. The conference will have faculty from across the country who will share their expertise in the management of infectious diseases.
The conference also has symposia to make the deliberations more interesting. The conference has special attractions for postgraduate students including, hands-on workshops and quiz with grand prizes. To encourage the spirit of research in budding physicians there will be paper and posters sessions which will be judged by the best teachers from across the state.
The conference will be inaugurated by Dr. Jamshed Sunavala chief intensivist Breach Candy hospital Mumbai in the presence of Dr. Prabhakar Kore, MP and chancellor of KAHER, Dr. Vivek Saoji Vice Chancellor KAHER and Dr. M Narayanaswami Secretary API Karnataka Chapter.
The Chairman API Karnataka Chapter Dr. G B Sattur will preside over the function. The conferences promise to be a great opportunity for learning updates in medicine from the best and most experienced faculty in the state.
Dr V A Kothiwale will be the organizing chairman of KAPICON 2019, Dr. Rekha Patil Secretary, Dr. Madhav Prabhu Joint Secretary and Dr Arathi Darshan the Chairman of Scientific committee.
