General Surgery “Basics Revisited” J N Medical Scientific Society, Annual CME -2022 (9th & 10th April, 2022)

Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College Scientific Society, Belagavi has a glorious history of imparting quality medical education through Continuous Medical Education (CME) uninterrupted for 40 years. The stimulating theme is chosen for this year CME with the title, General Surgery “Basics Revisited” which is scheduled on 9^th & 10^th April, 2022 at KLE Centenary Convention Center, J N Medical College, Belagavi.

The galaxy of luminaries in the field of medical science will deliberate on various topics of varied interests which includes; Skin & Soft Tissue infections, Evaluation of Pain Abdomen, Dressings & Wound management, Management of Anaphylactic shock, Laparoscopic Hernia repair, Congenital anomalies, Use of laser technology in surgery, Interventional Radiology what it is?,

Management of Mastalgia, Geriatrics issues in surgery, Management of diabetic foot, Evaluation of Thyroid nodules, Primary Care in head injury, Panel discussion on Snake bite & low back ache are few of the subjects lined up for the participants. Interactive session, discussions, question-answers are part of the two days CME. Apart from these, Paper presentations, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) are also organised for participants.

The inaugural function of CME is scheduled on 9^th April, 2022 at 3 pm. Dr. G Siddesh, National President, Association of Surgeons of India is invited as Chief Guest. Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Hon’ble Chancellor KAHER, Dr. Vivek Saoji, Vice Chancellor, KAHER, Dr. V A Kothiwale, Registrar, KAHER, Dr. V D Patil, Director Hospital Development & New Projects, Dr. M V Jali, Medical Director, KLES Hospital are Guests of Honour. Dr (Mrs). N S Mahantshetti, Principal J N Medical College will preside over the function.
