Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to perform the “Pran Pratishtha” of the idol of Lord Ram at the grand temple in Ayodhya on January 22, with over 7,000 guests in attendance. The consecration ceremony will be followed by an expected influx of lakhs of devotees visiting the temple from January 23 onwards.
To ensure the safety and well-being of the attendees, elaborate arrangements have been made in Ayodhya. The information and broadcasting ministry’s Secretary, Apurva Chandra, announced that a 120-bed hospital in Ayodhya has been upgraded, with additional emergency beds. The Rajarshi Dashrath Autonomous State Medical College in Ayodhya has also undergone enhancements, adding 200 beds, including 50 emergency beds.
In preparation for potential medical emergencies, a team from the Trauma Centre at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi has been sent to Ayodhya to train 200 paramedics in the temple town.
Emergency response teams will be stationed in Ayodhya during the “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony and related programs.
