It is a privilege and honor to be a part of the inaugural function of IMA -KSB, Belagavi chapter said Dr. Shivkumar Lakkol, State President. He was speaking at IMA Hall on 26th Nov, 2022. In his talk Dr. Lakkol deliberated on the important points of KPME rules, he also stressed the importance of Hospital Board Association, role & responsibilities of IMA members. In his talk, Dr. Lakkol said that IMA members are entitled for privileges of various government schemes earmarked for health sector.
Training is an ongoing & integral part of the health care sector, hence, Hospital Board of India at state levels will run certification course through which it will train and educate health-care staff on safety aspects and proper care of patients. In the meeting it was also highlighted that the communication is the key in health care sector and it will act as a bridge between healthcare personnel. Training for fire and safety, to aid the hospitals to resolve the grievances, conducting large camps and public awareness programmes to all remote places was also highlighted.
IMA-KSB will strive to bridge the gap between private and government hospitals, ensure proper delivery of insurance services to all remote hospitals. It will also coordinate with the local authorities and government facilities for proper health care delivery needy patients.
In this event Dr Devagouda Imagoudannavar Orthopaedic Surgeon Shree Ortho and Trauma Centre and past IMA secretary is appointed as Member of IMA Karnataka state Hospital Board Committee (KSB-HBK)
Dr Devagouda and Dr Anil Patil will work together to form the association of hospitals for entire Belagavi district which includes all peripheral IMA branches namely Sankeshwar, Nippani, Chikkodi, Athani, Gokak, Bailhongal, Savadatti and Ramdurg. With help of all IMA branch Secretaries and President 2 representative from each IMA will be selected to form a committee.Under IMA HOSPITALS BOARD BELGAUM doctors can have unique way of resolving issues of every hospital.
IMA Belagavi branch President Dr Swapna Mahajan, Secretary Dr Hemant Kaujalgi, Past IMA president Dr Rajashri Anagol, IMA KSB PRO Mr.Pavan Patil, all spoke about how all hospitals can come forward as a unit under banner of IMA KSB Hospital Board of India.
