The impressive installation of the new managing committee of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Belagavi was held late Saturday 15th October at Adarsha Palace. Distinguished medical practitioner Dr Swapna Mahajan was installed as the President, Dr Hemant Koujalgi as Secretary and Dr Basavraj Bijjargi as Treasurer of IMA, Belagavi.
Speaking on the occasion senior medical practitioner Dr Ajit Kulkarni highlighted the role of medical fraternity in community & their dignified practice and how to build up good relationship between patient doctor. “Reach out to the unreached in the rural areas,” Dr Kulkarni urged doctors to extend medical services to the underprivileged section of the society.
The new team under IMA banner vowed to do the best for the underprivileged. Dr I S Patil spoke about the achievements of IMA. In a scintillating way Dr S B Kulkarni briefed about the journey of the Belagavi IMA. Dr Vaishali Deshpande , Dr Suchitra Latkar, Dr Grishma Gizare , Dr Dattaprasad Gijare. About 120 members of the Belagavi IMA were present of the program.
